Chief Executive Officer
Mr. CS Colvin has been associated with the Lumber and Building Materials Industry for over 20 years conducting corporate restructuring, debt and equity financing and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities through his firm CSC Capital established in 1992. His first industry buyout occurred in 1996 when he and a strategic partner acquired Montevilla Lumber in Portland OR as a private equity investment. In 2002 Colvin’s firm restructured H.G. Page transforming the family operated company to a professionally managed corporation and in 2014 he again was sought out by the Board of Directors. Officially being appointed as CEO in December 2015, he chairs the Budget Committee.
Prior to founding CSC Capital he was a Vice President of a San Francisco Bay Area private equity and turnaround firm. Before that he was a U.S. Naval Officer serving both in the reserves and active duty on a nuclear powered submarine. Colvin is a graduate of the University of Washington, Oxford University, the U.S. Naval War College, and Harvard Business School’s Executive Program in Corporate Restructuring & M&A, among others. Currently he is a Clinical Professor and course writer in the MBA program at Concordia University, Portland OR where he teaches classes in Corporate Restructuring, Methods of Financing, and Financial Modeling. As wine enthusiasts (and recent empty nesters of a daughter and son) he and his wife are Wine Club members of Willamette Valley Vineyards and co-founders of two Oregon wineries. Raised in Texas he lives in New York and Oregon.
Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Janine Fraser was appointed as H.G. Page CFO by Mr. Colvin in January 2015. Prior to this appointment she served as the Company’s Controller and Assistant Controller since first joining the Company in 2006. As CFO she oversees all financial management and reporting aspects of the company, including the management and preparation of all financial statements and management budgets, for both internal and external users. Maintaining the Company’s advanced in-house management accounting and budgeting system she is Co-Vice Chair of the Budget Committee which meets monthly and is the internal Chief Accounting Officer for the Company’s Board of Directors. She oversees H.G. Page Credit and Financing Department, the Accounts Payable Department, and the Human Resources Department.
Prior to joining H.G. Page Fraser worked at Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation holding a variety of financial and accounting positions. Born and raised in New York, Fraser earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Le Moyne College in Syracuse NY. When not crunching numbers she enjoys vacationing at Oceanside resorts and traveling with her husband (a former major league baseball player) to baseball games where he is an Advance Scout for the Miami Marlins. She has three daughters and two step sons.
Henry Page, III
Chief Revenue Officer
Mr. Henry Page III has over 30 years’ experience in the lumber and building materials industry; he is both an industry and company veteran. He proudly represents the only third generation member of the Page family as an employee/co-owner. Performing the duties of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) the company’s overall sales growth is truly an extension of his inner drive. As CRO Page directly oversees company-wide outside and inside contractor sales and manages the economics of large-scale commodity buys and pricing. In particular, he serves national accounts for LBM Advantage where he forecasts the driving forces of the home improvement market. Also as CRO he coordinates with the other three revenue producing management team members ensuring that the synergistic corporate sales platform maintains its balance and growth objectives. He is Co-Vice Chair of the Budget Committee and is a member of H.G. Page & Sons Board of Directors.
Page started his career with H.G. Page working on the retail floor eventually moving into distribution, traffic and commodity buying. In 2002 upon creating the new professionally managed corporate model Mr. Colvin asked Page, who was then the Central Dispatcher and Commodity Buyer to become H.G. Page & Sons first Vice President of Contractor Sales and Commodity Manager. Colvin expanded his role in March 2016 when Page became the Company’s first CRO. A life-long native of New York’s Hudson Valley, he is a Managing Partner of Page Management Partners, a regional real estate development and investment firm. Attending Duchess Community College studying business he previously served on the Forest Products Committee for ENAP (ENAP now LBM Advantage was co-founded by his father, Henry G. Page, Jr.). Married with a son and daughter he enjoys fishing and golf.
Chief Design & Renovation Officer
Ms. Jenn Scarola joined H.G. Page February 2016 with over 20 years of experience in applied and commercial arts inclusive of kitchen and bath design and interior planning. She provides management and oversight to the Kitchen and Bath (K+B) Division’s team of experienced designers working from the Company’s two Design Centers. Operating as a separate profit center manager, she not only provides personnel management, design expertise, pricing and sales support, she is also directly responsible for her own personal sales and for the financial management of the K+B Division including the management and creation of Division budgets. Scarola serves as a member of the Budget Committee and all the Division’ s designers report directly to her.
Prior to joining H.G. Page & Sons, Scarola had a diverse and multi-faceted career. Her latest venture was with Vertex Sales and Design in Pleasant Valley, NY where; as the Showroom Manager she was asked by Mr. Colvin to join the H.G. Page & Sons top management team. In a variety of other K+B roles she also worked as a consultant for Millbrook Cabinetry & Design in Millbrook NY, Showroom Managers for both Crown Tile Kitchen and Bath Center in Massapequa Park NY, and Security Plumbing & Heating Supply Bath Expressions in Kingston NY, and as a Design Specialist for The Home Depot in Patchogue NY.
Before becoming a K+B expert, Scarola had a storied background in animation, advertising, graphic design and illustration, working for CBS and Nickelodeon, among others. She worked and studied at the Poli Moda Institute at the University of Florence, Italy and has two Bachelors of Fine Art Degrees (one in Illustration and one in Restoration) from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC. When not planning beautiful interior spaces Scarola is also an accomplished international artist and for several years has played Roller Derby with the Hudson Valley Horrors. She was born and raised on Long Island, NY.
Chief Retail & Customer Officer
Ms. Chamberlain joined H.G. Page as the Company’s second corporate retail officer in July 2016 with over 20 years of management experience, specifically with over 12 years of retail management experience with The Home Depot. Her responsibilities with H. G. Page include the task of managing all four of the Company’s retail stores operations and employees which includes customer service and sales, inventory levels, merchandising and product selections, local yard and traffic functions, and financial budgeting and control which includes complete profit and loss responsibility. An additional responsibility is maintaining the Company’s overall “customer centric” business model as well as serving as a member of the Budget Committee.
Prior to joining H. G. Page, she was an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) of a Hudson Valley, NY Home Depot location generating over $80 million in annual sales. During her career with The Home Depot she worked in the flooring, plumbing, paint, lawn and garden, decor, and hardware departments where she rapidly rose from a Sales Specialist to Department Head and then to ASM. Overall she worked in four regional Home Depot locations before Mr. Colvin spotted her unique and variety of skill sets immediately hiring her to oversee retail operations for H.G. Page. Prior to The Home Depot she worked for 20 years as a manager in regulations compliance, as a buyer and as a financial coordinator for Reader’s Digest.
Ms. Chamberlain holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Marymount College, Tarrytown NY and a Masters in Management of Technology from New York University’s Polytechnic School of Engineering, NYC. As the ultimate example of a Do-it-Yourselfer she has remodeled and installed a new kitchen, created a new front walkway and dry stream with garden. A life long New Yorker, she is married and loves to read, hike and visit local farmers markets.
Chief Procurement & Logistics Officer
Mr. James Fanelli joined H.G. Page in 2000 as a sojourner after seven years in the high-end and fast paced culinary industry. However, he soon found the construction supply and home improvement retail industries to be more challenging for his quantitative and organized mind, as he quickly rose up through the ranks. Starting at the lumber counter within six months Fanelli was promoted to Assistant Retail Manager and a year and half later Colvin promoted him to Purchasing Manager as part of the 2002 restructuring. In March 2016 he was promoted to his current position.
Today as Chief Procurement & Logistics Officer Fanelli has duel responsibilities. First, he is responsible for the centralized purchasing of all manufactured and millwork products inclusive of managing all inventory levels both stock and special orders in all four store locations as well as the Company’s central distribution center. Second, he is responsible for managing the central traffic and logistic operations for all construction site deliveries and transfers of inventories to all four store locations. Fanelli oversees the Central Purchasing Department, Central Traffic and Dispatch Department, and the Central Distribution and Yard Operations Department. He serves as a member of the Budget Committee.
Prior to joining H.G. Page & Sons he worked in several restaurants in Maryland and throughout New England as a chef before working as a manager for Aramark at Vassar College. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park NY, his hobbies are F1 racing and classic rock music.
Born and raised in Baltimore MD, Fanelli has lived in New York for over three decades and has two daughters.
Robert (Bob) Ward
Chief Technology & Facilities Officer
Mr. Bob Ward joined H.G. Page in September 2007 shortly after the Company acquired Dills Lumber and Hardware thereby adding three more retail and yard locations. Ward has three major responsibilities. First he is responsible for all hardware and software applications associated with the continuation of the Company’s computer, telephone, and security operations. Specifically, he is responsible for all point-of-sale systems and several dozen computers running Eagle software and multiple 3rd party software applications, such as the Page Home Centers credit card. Additionally, he maintains, updates and backups the main server, and performs all technology additions and/or changes. Second, he oversees and is responsible for all the maintenance, repairs and upkeep and beautification projects of the corporate infrastructure, including all buildings, stores, warehouses, parking lots and lumber sheds. Third he is responsible for and acts as the profit center manager for H.G. Page & Sons E-Commerce site and is the technical interface between the Company and Orgill’s massive database of products and Epicor’s pay-on-line facility. In January 2015 he was promoted by Mr. Colvin to the top management team as Chief Technology & Facilities Officer. He serves as a member of the Budget Committee.
Prior to joining the Company, he was with New York Telephone, AT&T and most recently Citigroup, as their Telephony Manager and Head of Disaster Recovery Operations. He currently runs his own technology firm, Ward Technologies. While a technologist, Ward ironically operates no website for his firm instead preferring old fashioned word-of-mouth and referral based marketing. Born in the Bronx NYC, Ward is a lifelong New Yorker and Yankees fan. Married with one son he enjoys trout fishing, hiking, and vacationing on the Maine coast.
Chief Credit Officer
Ms. Cristina Castiglione was appointed as HG Page’s first Chief Credit Officer (CCO) by Mr. Colvin in April 2016. Prior to this appointment she served as the Company’s Credit, Accounts Receivable and Collections Manager since first joining the Company in January 2012. As CCO besides approving all in-house trade credit applications and overseeing the accounts receivable and collections process she now manages HG Page’s unique financing platform including the Company’s new credit card. In this new role she coordinates with multiple outside credit facilities (both national and local) providing financing options that are available for both the Company’s retail consumer and commercial/contractor customers, greatly expanding HG Page’s credit and financing portfolio. Also performing lien processing and working with corporate counsel on bad debt issues she serves as a member of the Budget Committee.
Prior to joining the Company Ms. Castiglione worked as a Credit Consultant for The Kelly Group Credit Consulting, Inc., offering credit solutions to the firm’s high net worth clientele. Before becoming a Credit Consultant she was a Credit Analyst with the firm. Before The Kelly Group, she was Co-Owner and Business Manager for Hyde Park Chiropractic. She also worked in research identifying major donors for the Culinary Institute of America’s ongoing fundraising campaign. Born and raised in New York, Castiglione earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Management from C.W. Post, Long Island University. She has one son and enjoys her family and friends as well as the outdoors, working in her garden, Pilates, Italian cooking and grilling.
