Page Home Centers has been building the Hudson Valley for over 90 years.

1924

1924

Henry G. Page began making cement blocks for home construction in a small building on what is now the present site of the Page Home Centers’  Poughkeepsie showroom. (Fun fact, the concrete block making machine was purchased from a Sears & Roebuck catalog.)

1950’s

Henry G. Page starts selling insulation and roofing materials in addition to concrete blocks.

1962

Page opens its Lumberyard. Prior to the 60’s, Dutchess County was primarily agricultural. Since then, the southern part, from Poughkeepsie south, has developed into a largely residential area.

1978

Page celebrates the Grand Opening of its brand new and larger Home & Building Center offering services new to lumberyards in the area.

1980’s

80s

 

A new storage building is erected across from Rt 55 Poughkeepsie location, increasing inventory for customer home & building projects.

2004

80th Anniversary. Page opens a 6,500 sq. ft. Home Design Concepts showroom. Celebrates Grand Opening with over 3,000 customers attending the two day event.

2007

Page purchases 3 locations in Dutchess County. Rt. 44 in Amenia, Rt. 22 in Pawling, and Rt. 55 in Lagrangeville.

2011

Page celebrates Grand Re-Openings of all 4 locations after completing renovations, remodels and introducing many new products.
